The festive season in Jersey just got a little brighter as Maha Taher, a Graphic Designer at Snap Design & Digital, has been recognised for her outstanding customer service with a Jersey Customer Experience SMILE Pin.

Maha’s dedication, positivity, and commitment to delivering excellent service earned her this well-deserved accolade during the Give Service a Smile campaign.

The Give Service a Smile initiative, launched by the Jersey Customer Experience Alliance, celebrated individuals who went above and beyond to make someone’s day. Running from 4th November to 15th December, this campaign invited the public to nominate those who embodied the JCX Alliance’s S.M.I.L.E. Standards:

  • Service-Oriented: A commitment to putting customer needs first.
  • Mindfulness: Understanding and empathy towards customers.
  • Integrity: Building trust through congruence, honesty and transparency.
  • Listening: Valuing customer feedback and using it for improvement.
  • Excellence: Striving to exceed expectations in every interaction.

Claire Boscq, Founder of the JCX Alliance, explained the purpose behind the campaign: “Give Service a Smile is about more than acknowledging great service; it’s about fostering a culture where kindness and excellent service are encouraged. With each nomination, we’ve built an uplifting community spirit and highlighted the vital role that quality service plays in our lives.”

Maha’s dedication to these standards made an impression on the Channel Eye team who nominated her, and who feel that she has demonstrated a commitment to putting customer needs first, showing empathy and understanding, and consistently striving to exceed expectations with integrity and care.

Maha commented: “It was a lovely surprise to receive a JCX Smile Badge, it meant a lot to have my efforts recognised. Thank you to Channel Eye for the nomination, Snap for being such a supportive workplace, and Claire for spreading smiles!”

The Give Service a Smile campaign, supported by Versus Finance, underscored the importance of good customer service in creating positive community experiences.

Marco Fernandes, CEO of Versus Finance, shared his thoughts on the initiative: “Supporting Give Service a Smile aligns with our commitment to enhancing the local customer experience. Recognising those who bring positivity to their work reflects our belief in Jersey’s capacity to lead with excellent service standards.”

Congratulations to Maha Taher for this well-earned recognition, and to Snap Design & Digital for fostering a culture of excellence!
