Ogier took home the ‘Offshore Law Firm of the Year’ award at the Chambers HNW Awards held last week (21st July) in London.
This is the second major industry award for the market-leading law firm in July following its win at the ePrivateClient Excellence Awards.
The accolade, determined by independent client feedback, comes as Ogier remains the only law firm to be ranked top tier across Cayman, Guernsey and Jersey in the awarding body’s legal directory.
This industry recognition caps a milestone year for Ogier and its Trusts Advisory Group, which provides seamless contentious and non-contentious private client and trusts services to a global client base.
Ogier’s global Trusts Advisory Group has seen significant growth over the past 12 months, including the doubling in size of its Guernsey team. Ogier now has the largest contentious and non-contentious Trusts Advisory Group across its jurisdictions.
This win is the latest milestone for Ogier after 12 months of record headcount and income growth, a merger with Dublin law firm Ogier Leman, and the expansion of Ogier’s jurisdictional footprint with new offices in Singapore and Beijing.
Global head of Private Wealth Matt Guthrie said: “We’re very pleased to have been named Chambers HNW’s Offshore Law Firm of the Year. For Ogier to be recognised by two prestigious industry bodies in rapid succession is a real source of pride for all of us as a firm. Putting our clients at the centre of everything we do is what drives us, so it’s particularly pleasing to have received this award, which is determined entirely by client feedback.”
