New Five Oaks Manufacturing Hub to support local jobs and construction

Under the agreement, ECO-SPACE has opened a new manufacturing unit at Normans’ Five Oaks branch.

Four colleagues from Normans have moved into roles working for ECO-SPACE, manufacturing sustainable timber-frame panels, Posi-Joists and roof trusses. ECO-SPACE had previously imported some of its timber products from its manufacturing facility in the UK. Now all products used in the Island will be made in Jersey at Five Oaks, supporting the commitment to carbon neutrality and sustainability by both companies.

By shifting production of key timber-frame components to Jersey, the partnership reduces reliance on imported finished products, helps cut transport-related emissions and supports the growth of lower-impact construction methods within the island. It also marks a significant step forward for Jersey’s construction and manufacturing sectors, uniting two trusted local names with a shared commitment to quality, innovation and sustainable building solutions.
