The Channel Islands Coop is celebrating a decade of support for Channel Islands Pride – an event that continues to bring our communities together to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and togetherness.
As a founding sponsor of CI Pride, which began in 2015, the Coop has supported this vibrant community celebration from the start, reflecting who the Coop is as a community retailer – rooted in fairness, openness and a belief that everyone should feel safe, welcomed, and respected.
The Coop is proud to be accredited by Liberate as a DIFERA employer, a recognition of our ongoing commitment to Diversity, Inclusion, Fairness, Equality, Respect, and Acceptance.
Mark Cox, CEO of the Channel Islands Coop said: “Inclusivity isn’t a bolt-on at the Coop. It’s woven into everything we do – from how we support our colleagues, to how we serve our customers, and the values we uphold as an employer.
“Pride is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together as a community. It’s about creating a space where everyone belongs, celebrated and proud of who they are. As a long-standing partner of Island life, we’re honoured to play our part in building that space.”
