Power Platform Developer
Our client, a leading professional services organisation with offices across Jersey and Guernsey, is looking for an experienced Power Platform Developer to join their Advisory team at Senior Associate level.
The Role
You will be part of a team responsible for identifying and delivering client requirements, working across a variety of engagements and building strong business relationships across the region. Being part of a smaller, agile department, you will have excellent opportunities to contribute to strategic initiatives and input into the management of the business. Over time you will become a trusted advisor, managing a team and defining project strategy for multiple and complex projects.
In this role you will design, develop and implement custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Platform, collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate Power Apps with various data sources including SharePoint, SQL Server, and third-party applications
- Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows to automate business processes
- Create and manage Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights
- Ensure the security and scalability of Power Platform solutions
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power Platform applications
- Stay up to date with the latest features and updates in the Power Platform ecosystem
Qualifications & Certifications
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications
- Experience working through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support
Essential Skills
- Knowledge of and experience working with complex data sets and database technology
- Proven experience as a Power Apps / Power Platform Developer
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, Copilot Studio)
- Proficiency in JavaScript, C#, Python, and Power FX
- Experience in understanding client problems and designing relevant, sustainable technology solutions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to accurately prepare and review reports on technical subject matter
Desirable Skills
- Experience with data and analytics tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or Tableau
- Knowledge of applicable technology in the fintech market
- Familiarity with financial services systems
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
Additional Information
Some travel may be required between the islands and to the UK as part of a cross-island team.
