With two Anytime Fitness UK franchisees already under their belt, Jersey will be the third in their expanding club portfolio.

Launched in the USA, in 2002, Anytime Fitness has over 4,500 clubs in more than 32 countries. As a sponsor of the NFL and nearing 200 clubs in the UK, they have over 4 million members with a new member joining an Anytime club every 3 minutes.

Glenda Rivoallan Founder and CEO said: “I am immensely proud of Club Soulgenic and the time was right for myself and my management team to re-adjust our focus on our other businesses. COVID has taught us all so much and on a personal note one goal for me is to spend more time with family – I am fortunate that I now can.

“It has always been my wish to pass the Club on to the very best in the field and to people who are customer focused. We are extremely fortunate to have found this in Steve and Connor and the Anytime Fitness brand. This will be a fitting legacy to the incredible passion and commitment, which enabled us to make our club community what it now is.

“It also represents an amazing opportunity for our staff team, members and wider local community in terms of accessing the Anytime Fitness 24 hour/365 day model and huge network of 4,500 clubs. I strongly believe that Jersey needs a 24 hour brand like Anytime Fitness so it is really exciting that they will be the first and only 24 hour club in Jersey!

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank our member community, staff team, business partnerships and suppliers for all their support and encouragement along the way.  While I will continue to work with Anytime Fitness in a transitory consultancy role, I want to wish Steve and Connor the very best of luck. Their plans for the club are really exciting and I really look forward to seeing how they build on what we have created.”

Connor said: “My father and I have always had a keen desire to introduce a state of the art 24hour fitness facility to the Channel Islands, ever since we opened our first UK club. This is why when we discovered Club Soulgenic, a location perfectly suited to our vision we felt it necessary to reach out to Glenda and her team to discuss the possibility of acquiring the business.

“Club Soulgenic has an amazing community of members with varying goals and needs, which aligns perfectly with the Anytime Fitness mission statement of ‘Making Healthy Happen’. No matter what someone wants to achieve, whether it be prepping for an athletic competition or just improving general health. We will be there to help and support each and every member throughout their health and fitness journey.

“This will be achieved by preserving Club Soulgenic’s supportive ethos and high-quality standards whilst introducing additional benefits such as 24-hour access, inclusive classes (instructor lead and virtual), a wide variety of fitness equipment plus access to over 4,000 fitness clubs worldwide.”
