As part of this year’s Jersey Festival of Words, Switch is sponsoring two, in-person events, with Christian Foley.
Not just an author, Christian is also a poet, rapper, teacher and a powerful advocate for children’s literacy, whose performances have amassed millions of views worldwide. At the events, he’ll be delivering live performances of his debut picture book The Oddsocktopus, and performing some of his trademark tongue-twisting rhymes, bringing hip-hop storytelling to life.
From its roots as a web-tech startup, Switch has grown with purpose over the last 22 years continually evolving its marketing and strategic communications toolkit for clients, whilst also supporting the wider Jersey community with initiatives that align with our values.
Commenting on the Festival of Words event, Switch’s Chief Strategy Officer Lynne Capie said: “As a business, we believe in the power of words and authentic storytelling, it’s at the heart of what we do. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to support this year’s Festival of Words. Its purpose, to celebrate the power of storytelling, aligns so closely with our own. Partnering with Christian on this fabulous event is a real privilege, and we’re proud to play a part in championing children’s literacy in Jersey and supporting the next generation of storytellers.”
