Walkers have announced the appointment of Simon Hurry as a partner in their Insolvency & Dispute Resolution team in Jersey.
Simon (pictured) joins them in a lateral partner hire from another offshore law firm, bringing over 17 years of experience in high-value commercial and trust litigation, cross-border insolvency, enforcement and asset tracing.
He has appeared before the courts of Jersey and the Cayman Islands at all levels, including the Privy Council, and is widely recognised for his expertise in complex dispute resolution matters.
Simon, who is the first lawyer in the Channel Islands to be recognised as an INSOL Fellow, joins the team led by partner Nigel Sanders. He also joins fellow partners Fraser Hern, Richard Holden, Marc Seddon and James Turnbull.
