SandpiperCI is to buy The Guernsey Pub Company – the holding company of Randalls of Guernsey –pending approval from the competition regulator.
The group operates pubs and hotels across the Bailiwick, as well as a number of shops and the duty-free outlets within Guernsey and Alderney’s airports.
Sandpiper’s Executive Chairman Tony O’Neill said:
“The management team has ongoing plans to continue the development of the business and Sandpiper is looking forward to working with them to further enhance and support performance.”
The purchase marks a major return to the hospitality sector for Sandpiper after more than a decade away.
