The Scrutiny Management Committee has launched an online survey to seek views from the public to further inform its review of Island Wide Voting.
The Review Panel was very pleased with the submissions it received from its Call for Evidence earlier this year and is now seeking views from Islanders on various aspects surrounding the electoral process. The Review Panel now wishes to encourage as many people as possible to complete the questionnaire. The survey has primarily been designed to be completed online, however we are aware that some people may find a paper version more convenient.
A paper copy is available on request by telephone from (01481) 716227 or by email.
The survey will close on Friday 14th July 2023.
Deputy Yvonne Burford, President of the Scrutiny Management Committee and Chair of its Review Panel, said: “The Panel has already received some valuable feedback from the community as part of its review of Island Wide Voting. This survey will allow an even greater number of people to submit their views on this important topic that affects everyone.
“I’d encourage everyone aged 16 or over living in Guernsey or Herm to let us know their thoughts by taking 10 or 15 minutes to complete the survey. Once the results of the survey are in and have been analysed, we will conduct public hearings before producing a report of our findings.”
