The historic, family‐owned Savoy Hotel has been sold as a going-concern, to a private individual, for an undisclosed sum.
Comprising 3,480 Sqm of tourist accommodation within 55 en-suite rooms, the Savoy Hotel was brought to market in 2025 by Quérée Property Consultants on behalf of the Lora family, who have owned and operated the property since 1993.
Lucy Schooling, Director of Quérée Property Consultants, successfully negotiated the sale on behalf of the vendor; working closely with Advocate Julie Melia of Mourant Ozannes (Jersey) LLP on behalf of the vendor, and Advocate Michelle Leverington and Advocate Nick Marshall of Nicolle Marshall LLP on behalf of the purchaser.
Lucy Schooling commented: “Quérée Property Consultants is honoured to have facilitated this landmark sale. While the new owners’ plans remain confidential, the continued operation of a well‐established hotel in favour of development to residential accommodation reflects the underlying strength and confidence in the island’s hospitality and tourism sector.”
Savoy Hotel Director Roberto Lora stated: “The family extends its sincere appreciation to Lucy, and the team at Quérée Property Consultants for their efficient marketing and facilitation of the sale, and to all parties who have worked to ensure its successful completion. We are particularly delighted that the hotel will continue running to serve the island’s tourism and hospitality industry. We look forward to following the new owners’ plans as they develop and wish them
every success.”
