PwC bolsters audit practice with four Director promotions across the Channel Islands

PwC Channel Islands has announced its Director promotions across Guernsey and Jersey – all of whom are audit specialists.

Chloe Hutt, based in Jersey, is originally from Australia and began her career with PwC CI in 2012 as a graduate, after completing her Bachelor (Hons) in Accounting and Finance at Anglia Ruskin University. She brings a wealth of experience across a diverse range of sectors, including trust and fiduciary services, banking, private equity, and asset management.

Guernsey-based Joe McDermott studied chemistry at Imperial College London and achieved his Masters in 2013. He then joined PwC’s audit team, where he has accumulated 12 years’ experience of working with a number of key banking, private equity and wealth management companies who have operations in Guernsey, Jersey and London.

Milly Abbott, based in Guernsey, studied at the University of Sussex and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. Milly has worked at PwC continuously since 2014, including a secondment to PwC Australia. Her extensive audit experience of alternative investment funds spans private equity and debt; infrastructure; and esoteric asset classes such as music royalty funds.

Jersey-based Yash Pareima, a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, has over 13 years’ audit experience, the last 10 years of which were at PwC CI. He earned his Masters in Business Administration specialising in Finance from Coventry University in 2014. Originally from Mauritius, Yash relocated to Jersey in 2015, where he joined PwC CI as a Senior Associate. Throughout his tenure, he has gained significant experience working with a diverse array of audit clients, including trust and corporate fund administrators; private equity firms; real estate entities; private debt institutions; and publicly traded companies.
