Ogier has once again been named Offshore Law Firm of the Year at the highly contested WealthBriefing European Awards 2025.
It is the fourth time that the firm has taken home the honour for its leading wealth management practice.
This year saw an increase in entrants to the awards – but the judges ultimately awarded the accolade to Ogier for its ‘technical prowess’ and ‘unmatched expertise’.
Showcasing the best firms in the European region, the Awards recognise the most innovative and exceptional firms, teams and individuals currently operating in the industry.
A prestigious panel of independent judges deem whether organisations have ‘demonstrated innovation and excellence during the last year’. Each category is subject to a rigorous process before the ultimate winner is selected.
The judges’ full assessment of Ogier said: “This firm stands out as a global leader in offshore trust and estates, with unmatched expertise across contentious and non-contentious matters. Its technical prowess, combined with innovative tools and a commitment to DEI, ensures top-tier service. Its extensive international network and thought leadership shape the future of private wealth.”
Global head of Private Wealth Matt Guthrie, who attended the ceremony to collect the accolade, said: “We are delighted to receive recognition like this from WealthBriefing. Their independent assessment of the work that our skilled teams carry out daily to deliver excellent client service and create a brilliant workplace shows that we are truly a leader in this competitive field. This is excellent news for our already award-winning Trusts Advisory Group, the largest among offshore firms, and we’re very pleased with the result.”
ClearView Financial Media’s CEO and Publisher of WealthBriefing Stephen Harris said: “This year we have seen a marked increase in entrants and interest in all our global awards programmes and the WealthBriefing European Awards 2025 is no exception. These awards give organisations and individuals the opportunity to clarify their strategic thinking, have it independently validated, be recognised internally and externally and to celebrate in style with their peers. I offer my congratulations and best wishes for the future to all winners and highly commended firms – they are all worthy recipients who join the prestigious list of wealth management professionals who form the global elite of WealthBriefing winners.”
