Alexandra O’Grady, a key member of Ogier’s top tier Investment Funds team in Jersey, has been promoted to partner.
Alexandra (pictured) specialises in the funds, regulatory and listing practice areas and is a part of Ogier’s award-winning Private Equity team. In particular, she advises a range of collective investment funds on an on- going basis and has launched a number of funds and investment structures (both open and closed ended), focusing on private equity, venture capital and property funds.
Alexandra is among Ogier’s home-grown talent, having started her career through the law firm’s trainee solicitor programme in 2008, qualifying as an associate in 2010. During her progression from trainee solicitor to partner, she has received standout praise from clients.
Legal 500, Chambers UK and IFLR1000 have all consistently ranked Alexandra as a ‘leading associate’, ‘associate to watch’ and ‘rising star’ and she has joined deal teams including advising Geiger Counter Limited on its listing on Main Market of the London Stock Exchange and advising Index Ventures on its US$2.3 billion fund raise.
