Ogier duo Sophie Denman and Samantha Hoare have been recognised as rising stars of the private client profession in the 2023 eprivateclient NextGen Leaders List.
Sophie (pictured) is a managing associate in Ogier’s Private Wealth team in Guernsey, specialising in Guernsey and BVI law. A STEP qualified trusts and estates practitioner, she has extensive technical experience in advising trustees, settlors and beneficiaries in respect of complex and high-value wealth structures. Sophie’s skills have previously been recognised through multiple STEP Excellence Awards wins and her listing as a “Rising Leader” with Private Client Global Elite for two consecutive years.

Samantha is a managing associate in Ogier’s Dispute Resolution team in Jersey. She has advised on complex contentious trusts matters, sanctions issues for trust companies within Jersey, and on a wide variety of contentious private client issues that arise in the offshore arena. A long-standing Advocate, Sam is considered to be a trusted advisor by key clients.
