Ocorian, the specialist global provider of services to financial institutions, asset managers, corporates and high net worth individuals, has been recognised in the 2023 Chambers and Partners High Net Worth Rankings.
Chambers and Partners’ High Net Worth ranks the top trust professionals and firms in the international private wealth sector. The guide is used by family offices and professional advisers to inform high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients around the world in relation to successful businesses in the fiduciary sector.
Chambers and Partners’ inhouse researchers compile the rankings by conducting in-depth reviews and speaking to intermediaries who have worked with the individuals and private wealth firms in question.
Ocorian has five individuals listed in the Chambers and Partners Rankings in Guernsey – Andrew Walters, Anthony Tennant, Jonathon Plimley, Michael Betley and Michael Heyworth – and has also been listed as a ‘leading trust company’.
Michael Betley (pictured), Global Head of Private Client at Ocorian, said: “We are proud to have five of our Guernsey-based team recognised as leading individuals by Chambers and Partners. Having the exceptional talent we do, at all levels in Guernsey, demonstrates our ongoing success and reinforces our ability to deliver top-level service to our clients. Building the highly recognised team, as this one in Guernsey, is by design and has taken time. There are of course many more unsung heroes within our wider private client teams which gives us a wonderful depth and breadth of talent to draw on and foster.”
The firm has also been listed as a ‘leading firm in Jersey’, with Nick Cawley, who chairs Ocorian’s Private Client Advisory Board, named as an outstanding individual.
