Queens Road Medical Practice has appointed a new GP to its growing clinical team.
After growing up in Guernsey, Dr Andre Le Poidevin (pictured) qualified in 2017 and completed both his foundation and general practitioner training in Bristol. He has developed a broad range of special interests, including men’s health, frailty, and palliative care. Alongside his clinical work, he has contributed to research as a fellow focusing on health inequalities and hospice care provision.
During his time practicing as a GP in Bristol, he has also been actively involved in out-of-hours services and medical education, reflecting his commitment to both patient care and development.
Rob Jordan, Practice Manager, said: “It’s fantastic to welcome Dr Andre to Queens Road Medical Practice. His expertise will enhance our ability to offer men’s health, frailty, and palliative care services to the evolving needs of our patients.
“Dr Andre joining us represents an important investment in our team and ensures we continue to meet the standard of care the island deserves.”
Dr Andre said: “I’m excited to move back to Guernsey with my young family to join Queens Road Medical Practice and work alongside such a dedicated team. I can’t wait to be able to support islanders with any and all of their health needs, it’s a privilege to give back to the island that I grew up in.”
