The Medical Specialist Group has appointed experienced Guernsey nurse, Julie Jones, as its Lead Nurse.
With more than 30 years of nursing experience, Julie (pictured) brings a broad background spanning surgical nursing, cardiothoracic critical care, emergency nursing, clinical education, resuscitation training and community healthcare.
In her new position, Julie will lead the MSG’s outpatient nursing team, which provides nursing and clinical care, patient education and support for patients attending outpatient appointments.
Julie said: “Over the last 30 years, nursing has really proven to be the vocation I dreamed of. I feel so privileged to care for patients often during stressful and vulnerable moments in their lives. I am lucky to work with such a dedicated team to provide compassionate, empathetic and evidence-based care.
“Looking ahead, I am excited to build on the excellent work already taking place at the MSG and continue developing our nursing team. My focus will be on ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care and support throughout their journey with us”
