Jersey Water has announced that Paul Masterton will be the next Chair of its Board of Directors.
Paul (pictured) will join the Board on 1 October, when the utility will officially unveil its five-year strategy to 2030, which will set a clear direction for safeguarding the Island’s water supply for the future.
With a career spanning senior leadership roles and more than two decades of board-level experience, Paul has held multiple chair roles across public sector organisations, infrastructure and financial services.
In his role as Chair, Paul will oversee the delivery of the strategy, working closely with Jersey Water’s leadership team and engaging with key stakeholders to ensure that the company continues to provide its critical public service for the Island.
Welcoming Paul to the Board Helier Smith, Jersey Water’s Chief Executive, said: “Paul’s leadership and governance expertise offers a deep understanding of Jersey’s political, economic and community landscape.
