Babbé LLP continues to strengthen its Trust and Private Client offering with the hiring of estate planning specialist, Scott Mc Pherson.
Mr. Mc Pherson is a legal professional and fiduciary expert who was admitted as an Attorney of the Law Society of South Africa in 2014. He joins the firm as a Trust and Private Client Associate, focusing on all aspects of estate planning, Will drafting, and Trust administration. He holds two masters’ degrees, including an LLM in estate planning, for which he graduated as the top student in his cohort.
Additionally, with seven years working in international finance centres, most recently Mauritius, Scott brings the experience of working with Trusts and Companies from Mauritian, Guernsey, Jersey, Seychelles and the BVI. Scott also has experience in dispute resolution, working across civil, criminal and commercial matters, the latter on behalf of large corporate clients, predominantly within the banking sector.
