SPF Private Clients, part of the Howden Group, has launched in Jersey, alongside its office in Guernsey, which has operated since 2006.

Mortgage professional Paul Hyde will lead the team, with Senior Mortgage Adviser Lucy Munroe working alongside him.

The Jersey team will initially operate from Unity Chambers, 28 Halkett Street, St Helier, with plans to relocate to premises near the Yacht in the coming months.

Paul Hyde, Head of SPF Private Clients in Jersey, said: “Rather than being viewed as an additional cost, brokers provide access to a wider range of lenders and options, helping clients secure terms that align with their long-term plans.

“Broker advice is sometimes under-utilised locally, and there is an opportunity to better highlight the support, choice and insight available to borrowers across Jersey. Greater awareness of how brokers operate can help people make more informed decisions and access appropriate solutions for their circumstances.”

He added: “I’m pleased to be establishing our presence in Jersey and working closely with residents and businesses to understand their objectives and guide them through to completion.”
