Following the retirement, of Vice Principal Elizabeth Bridge, The Ladies’ College has announced that Morag Herring has been appointed as the new Vice Principal and Head of Senior School.
Morag joins The Ladies’ College from Loughborough Grammar School, where she held the role of Deputy Head (Academic) and previously served as Acting Head. She begun her career as a Biology Teacher and moved quickly to a Head of Science and Lead Practitioner. Morag has worked in a number of leadership roles in a variety of schools. In every role, her passion has been to develop the quality of teaching and learning so that every child receives the best possible learning experience.
Morag said: “I am looking forward to working with the impressive students and equally impressive staff of The Ladies’ College. It will be a privilege to be part of a community that provides girls with such an empowering education, promoting a culture of ambition for student achievement, both academically and in the development of broader skills and values.”
