JTC has appointed Mike Freer as Director within its Employer Solutions team.
Mike (pictured) joins JTC with over 40 years of experience in financial services, having worked across multiple jurisdictions, including the UK and the Channel Islands.
In his new role, he will support both new and existing clients across the corporate, public and not-for-profit sectors in the design, implementation and administration of employee incentive, pension and share plan solutions.
Prior to joining JTC, Mike was Head of Business Development at a professional services firm, where he worked across domestic and international markets. He brings additional experience in establishing new markets in new jurisdictions, as well as securing legal and regulatory approvals.
Mike also sits on the Fiscal Strategy Group standing committee, part of Jersey Finance, where he contributes to the consideration of future tax policy matters. He has supported the Government of Jersey through various working groups focused on the implementation of pension regulation and the development of an island-wide workplace pension, bringing a practical and informed perspective to these evolving policy initiatives.
He holds an Associateship of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Financial Planning Certificate.
