Jersey Sport has announced the appointment of four new Non-Executive Directors to its Board.
The appointments of Ceri Tinley, Dominic Simpson (pictured), Kevin Lemasney and Chris Kalinauckas bring extensive expertise across business, finance, law, and community sport. Their appointments strengthen Jersey Sport’s mission to make sport and physical activity accessible, inclusive, and beneficial for all Islanders.
Ceri is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Consensio Chalets, a leading operator of luxury ski chalets in the French Alps, with over 20 years’ experience in business leadership and hospitality. She also mentors senior women in business and founded See Her Run, a group empowering teenage girls in Jersey.
Veri commented: “I’m delighted to join Jersey Sport as a Non-Executive Director and contribute to an organisation that shares my passion for participation, wellbeing, and opportunity. I look forward to helping shape initiatives that enable people across the Island to get active and enjoy the benefits of sport.”
Dominic brings more than 25 years’ experience in treasury and finance and serves as a Trustee for the Association of Corporate Treasurers’ Educational Trust. A keen hockey player and coach, Dominic is committed to supporting both performance and participation in sport.
“I am proud to be joining the Board of Jersey Sport. Having gained so much from my own involvement in sport over 40 years, I am excited to help Jersey Sport ensure all Islanders can access the physical and mental wellbeing benefits that sport provides,” said Dominic.
Kevin retired in 2024 from the States of Jersey and is a Non-Executive Trustee with Jersey Heritage. He has a long history of supporting the sporting community, including as past Chairman of Jersey Rugby Association and Jersey Rugby Minis & Juniors.
Kevin commented: “I am honoured to join the Board of Jersey Sport. I believe in the power of sport to bring communities together, and I look forward to working with Andrew Whelan, my fellow Board members, and David Kennedy and his team to make sport accessible and enjoyable for everyone in Jersey.”
Chris Kalinauckas is a Jersey Advocate and corporate law partner with 20 years’ experience in corporate governance, private equity, and finance. A triathlete and half-marathon runner, he is passionate about encouraging physical activity for wellbeing.
“It is a privilege to join the Board of Jersey Sport, the independent charitable body for sport and active living in Jersey. Inspiring, leading, and enabling positive wellbeing through lifelong engagement in sport is important. I am delighted to work alongside Andrew, my fellow Board members, and the Jersey Sport team to contribute to the continued growth of sport in Jersey,” said Chris Kalinauckas.
