Kate Rogers has passed the Level 3 International Certificate in Financial Services Regulation with a record-breaking score of 97 out of 100.

Kate is a student at the School of International Financial Services and Senior Supervisor at the Jersey Financial Services Commission.

This is not only the highest score in her international cohort but also the highest score ever achieved globally in the examination’s history.

The Level 3 International Certificate is recognised globally by financial regulators, providing an in-depth perspective of the regulatory landscape across the financial services industry.

Kate Roger’s performance highlights the JFSC’s sustained commitment to professional development and maintaining Jersey’s status as a leading international finance centre through regulatory effectiveness.

Executive Director Helen Hatton at the School of International Financial Services said: “I am so proud of this cohort. The qualification is tough and intellectually challenging, as indeed is a career in financial services supervision, but they studied hard, and all passed, many with Merit and Distinction. It is a fabulous achievement.

“Kate’s achievement is truly remarkable, firmly highlighting the quality of the regulatory professionals that the JFSC is producing and developing. She has set the bar incredibly high for future students.”

Jill Britton, Director General at the JFSC said: “I’m hugely proud of Kate and all our JFSC colleagues who have successfully passed this certificate. Kate’s sustained effort and commitment has clearly paid off in abundance. We greatly value professional development at the JFSC and understand how important it is to help achieve sustainable, long-term excellence in regulatory effectiveness, and increased capability for the island in combatting financial crime”.

Kate Rogers, Senior Supervisor at the JFSC said: “I thoroughly enjoyed the International Certificate in Financial Services Regulation. The School of International Financial Services and my tutor Darren Boschat were excellent.  The qualification had great practical application to my role right from the first course, with additional insights into other areas of regulation.  Since joining the JFSC, the opportunities for development have been fantastic, and I really appreciate the support received throughout.  This is one of the most valuable qualifications I have undertaken in my career to date.”
