HSBC customers in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man to benefit from loan scheme to tackle the financial impact of COVID-19.

HSBC will be offering the new government-backed business disruption loan scheme to island business customers*.

The move extends the financial support package HSBC announced earlier this month.

Warwick Long, Head of Commercial Banking in the islands, commented: “We are delighted to be able to offer the loan scheme to help our customers who are viable small and medium sized businesses to continue to trade through these uncertain times. This strengthens the support measures we put in place several weeks ago through which we are already helping many island businesses. The new loan scheme is a welcome boost for our island businesses at this difficult time.”

Business customers who would like to discuss the scheme are encouraged to contact the Bank through their Relationship Manager or by emailing [email protected].
