Ogier took home a series of awards at the Citywealth IFC Awards this week.
The law firm was named ‘Team of the Year – Litigation’, ‘Law Firm of the Year – Guernsey’, and ‘Law Firm of the Year – Jersey’.
Global senior partner Rachael Reynolds QC was also named ‘Lawyer of the Year – Litigation’ at the event, the second time she has received this accolade.
This industry recognition follows another record year for Ogier’s Dispute Resolution and Trusts Advisory Group, including the doubling in size of the Guernsey Private Wealth team, the top-tier ranking across the board for Ogier’s Trusts Advisory Group in Cayman, Guernsey and Jersey, and the continued expansion of Ogier’s private client offering in Hong Kong.
The Dispute Resolution team has also continued to grow at pace and develop its broader offering across the globe, including the strengthening of the shareholder disputes practice with the promotion of section 238s specialist Shaun Maloney to the partnership, and the ongoing development of the multi-disciplinary Restructuring and Corporate Recovery team.
Global managing partner Edward Mackereth (pictured) said: “It’s fantastic to receive this series of awards for Ogier’s global Private Wealth and Dispute Resolution teams, and for our Guernsey and Jersey offices.
“These awards are testament to the way our teams are consistently growing, adapting and innovating to put our clients at the heart of everything we do, and – as importantly – of the way our people have been continuing to support each other to produce outstanding client service in another challenging year. This is well-deserved recognition of that commitment on the part of each member of the Ogier team, and for the brilliance of our senior partner Rachael.”
