Grant Thornton Channel Islands have made a series of senior promotions across its Jersey and Guernsey offices, effective from 1st April 2026.
In the tax practice, Henry Armelin steps into the role of Tax Director, bringing extensive Jersey and UK tax expertise. Henry is passionate about Jersey taxation and has experience advising individuals of their Jersey income tax obligations and resolving Jersey income tax disputes.
Also advancing within the tax team, Lucinda Overbury specialises in Jersey corporate tax compliance and advisory services. A qualified Chartered Accountant with over 10 years’ experience, she has deep knowledge of the tax implications for local investment and regulated companies. Lucinda has been instrumental in guiding clients through significant regulatory changes, including the Economic Substance Law and updates to Jersey corporate filing requirements.
James Tinnelly also progresses to Tax Associate Director and has over 15 years’ experience advising individuals and businesses on Jersey and UK tax matters. He specialises in high net worth and global mobility advisory clients, including inward and outward migration, personal and corporate tax, social security, GST and remuneration planning.

Promoted to Audit Associate Director, Danielle Almond, a Chartered Accountant with over 14 years’ experience delivering audit services across both financial services and nonfinancial services sectors. She has led audits reporting under UK GAAP and IFRS and currently manages a diverse portfolio, with particular expertise in fund structures and fiduciary businesses.
