Tim Clipstone has joined the Guernsey office of legal firm Ogier as a partner in its top-tier investment fund team.
Tim has a strong reputation for his work with offshore investment funds, specialising in investment fund structuring, equity fundraising, mergers and acquisitions and group reorganisations.
Tim joins Ogier’s Guernsey team, who were recently Guernsey legal counsel to the launch of a £202 million music IPO fund, and who are ranked in the top tier by International Financial Law Review (IFLR).
This year Ogier has been named Offshore Law Firm of the Year by Chambers Europe and International Law Firm of the Year at the Legal Week Innovation Awards, and was included in IFLR’s “Firms to Watch” that highlighted just 31 law firms around the world.
With more than 20 years’ experience as a lawyer in London and offshore, Tim is a recognised leader among offshore legal advisors. His previous role prior to joining Ogier was as a partner and the head of another offshore firm’s investment funds and regulatory team.
