JFSC published its final Basel III prudential rules for Jersey banks following consultation with industry. The new requirements will take effect from 1 July 2027, with industry feedback resulting in minor amendments and clarifications to the final framework. [Read more]

GFSC licensed a further participant through its Innovation Sandbox, with the latest licence covering a digital administrator and marking further development of the initiative within the Commission’s authorisations framework. IOMFSA published the findings of its thematic review of proliferation-financing controls, reporting that the seven firms inspected generally demonstrated a good understanding of proliferation-financing risk while the reissue of its questionnaire to 579 firms showed improved risk assessment, procedures and staff training across the sector.
