The Ladies’ College is reminding prospective students and their families that the application window for its 2025-2026 Sixth Form bursary programme is currently open.
The College is seeking diverse young women who will not only engage with the A-level programme but who are also excited by the opportunities provided by one of the four Pathways which run alongside the A-level courses.
This year’s bursary programme will close on 8th November 2024— in just a couple of weeks. Bursaries for next year’s Remove (Year 7) have now been awarded but applications are open for 2026.
The bursary programme provides financial assistance towards school fees based on individual needs. It is designed to support families and ensure that talented students, regardless of financial circumstances, can benefit from the educational opportunities at The Ladies’ College.
Principal of The Ladies’ College, Ms. Daniele Harford-Fox (pictured), said: “At The Ladies’ College, we are committed to providing equal access to opportunities for as many students as possible. We encourage interested families to get in touch to learn more about how we can help.
“For me, this has particular resonance as I was able to attend a girls’ independent school from the ages of 14-18 because of a full bursary and scholarship. That support changed my life and my life chances, and I want to give that opportunity to as many girls on the island as we can.
“So, if you know a young woman who is a natural changemaker, who is creative or technologically innovative, or who has the drive and interest to be a business leader or science pioneer, then please do encourage them to apply.”
