Ferbrache & Farrell is the only single office and independent Guernsey law firm listed.

The awards recognise the most capable, expert practitioners and firms operating at the top of their game across a number of different business sectors. They are the culmination of months of research, involving more than 70,000 interviews with in-house counsel and law firms in the UK.

“The whole team at Ferbrache & Farrell is absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for the Legal 500 UK 2020 Offshore Firm of the Year. To find ourselves amongst such esteemed shortlisted law firms, including most of the large international offshore practices, is an achievement in itself. Achieving this nomination as the only Guernsey independent commercial practice just three years after our inception is thanks to the fantastic efforts of everyone involved here,” said managing partner Alastair Hargreaves.

“We very much look forward to continuing to develop and grow our firm and thank our valued clients and friends for their tremendous support.”

Ferbrache and Farrell is one of seven law firms shortlisted for the award, alongside Cains Advocates, Carey Olsen, Collas Crill, Dickinson Gleeson, Mourant and Ogier. The winners will be announced in the next 10 days and the winners will attend an event in London in February.

Ferbrache & Farrell was established in 2016 and consists of highly respected individuals with decades of experience and who are all recognised locally and internationally for their levels of expertise in commercial law, property law, private client and dispute resolution.

Last month the firm was recognised across five practice areas in the 2020 edition of Legal 500 UK. Ferbrache & Farrell partner Gavin Farrell is also in the Legal 500 Hall of Fame, inducted in 2018.
