EY Assurance Manager, Peter Whitsey, is one of three professionals based in the Channel Islands to be recognised on ICAS’ 2020 Top 100 Young Chartered Accountants (CAs) list. The list showcases the leading CAs under the age of 35.

Peter was recognised for his role in helping to grow EY’s extended assurance service line offering in the Channel Islands, with his role covering a range of skills, including regulation, compliance and governance and business change.

Furthermore to his technical capabilities, Peter has a passion for mentoring, taking an active role in the firm’s counselling programme, where he provides coaching and support to junior employees with their ambitions progress in their careers.

He has also used his knowledge and experience to mentor local students as part of the Student Business Challenge.

Andrew Dann, EY’s Channel Islands Managing Partner, said: “Congratulations to Peter on his inclusion on this list. This recognition is a testament to his hard work, dedication and commitment to not only providing exceptional client service, but also the role he plays at EY inspiring and supporting junior team members to achieve their career goals”.
