Kanchan has a wealth of experience in the wealth & asset management, private equity and real estate industries. She has detailed knowledge of accounting standards, local regulatory and statutory law requirements. Alongside her technical skills, Kanchan is a keen advocate for creating a truly diverse and inclusive workplace, and is a member of EY’s Channel Islands Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) committee. She was instrumental in bringing colleagues together to celebrate Diwali in November, giving everyone the opportunity to share cultural traditions while strengthening connections across teams. This event also raised funds for Safer, a Guernsey-based charity supporting those affected by domestic abuse.

Dan Saunders, EY’s Managing Partner in the Channel Islands, said: “Congratulations to Kayla and Kanchan on their recent promotions. We are passionate about supporting our people and providing them with opportunities to grow and develop in their careers. These promotions are a testament to their hard work, commitment to personal and professional development and their consistent delivery of outstanding service to our clients.”
