Jersey charity, Age Concern, is parking up at Motor Mall next weekend with a special ‘pop-up shop’ full of gift ideas for Mother’s Day.
Age Concern’s mobile charity shop will be open in the showroom from 10am until 3pm on both Saturday and Sunday, selling all sorts from clothing and bric-a-brac to toys and books.
Commenting on the weekend, Motor Mall’s Sales Manager Simon Williams said: “Age Concern relies totally on the generosity of islanders to support its work and this weekend is the perfect opportunity to get a great gift for mum and help a really worthy cause”.
Age Concern Jersey supports the elderly and campaigns on their behalf. The charity has clear vision – that there should be no ageism, age should be recognised as a gift not a burden and that older people should be given respect and courtesy.
