Blue Islands has announced its expanded inbound European charter programme, which will see up to 4,690 visitors from Austria, the Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland travelling to Jersey and Guernsey on 67 inbound flights.
This initiative is expected to support up to 33,000 bed nights, providing a significant boost to local hospitality businesses and the wider supply chain.
Visitors will enjoy week-long holidays to uncover the unique charm of the Channel Islands, including Jersey’s golden beaches and Guernsey’s picturesque coastal paths.
This year’s programme includes new routes and expanded services. Austrian visitors can look forward to a seven-week series of flights from Vienna to Jersey. Swiss travellers will also benefit from a new route between Bern and Jersey, complementing the established Zurich connection to Guernsey and Jersey.
Dutch travellers can once again enjoy 20 weekly departures from Groningen and Rotterdam, while German visitors will have access to a seven-week programme of flights from five airports, including Hannover and Bremen.
Rob Veron (pictured), CEO of Blue Islands, said: “We are thrilled to work with our valued tour operator partners to deliver inbound European charter programmes, enabling visitors from Austria, the Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland to discover the unique charm and beauty of Jersey and Guernsey this summer. We have been operating series charter to the islands for over 15 years and are proud of the role we play in supporting the inbound visitor economy – an important sector of our islands’ wider economies.”
