As the Seafront in St Peter Port gets ready for the final 2019 Eat Drink & Be Local Seafront Sunday on Sunday 01 September and the Festival Weekend Finale on Saturday 28 September and Sunday 29 September, visitors to St Peter Port and islanders alike will not be disappointed in the array of food and drink on offer and which truly celebrates all that is Eat Drink & Be Local.
Local stall holders, be they food, drink or craft oriented, have forged strong relationships with both islanders and visitors over the summer and which now culminates in the final Eat Drink & Be Local Weekend Festival at the end of September 2019,
Visitors can enjoy the authentic aromas of Thai cuisine from ATAN and Cha’s Thai Spices; delight in the tastiest homemade dumplings from Bun Bun Bau and succumb to the flavours Ramen soups. For those who like things a little spicy, Rick & Nong’s Guernsey Home-grown Chillies will provide that extra kick. Chefan’s legendary and superb homemade burgers are a winner; Donkey Deli bring a true taste of Guernsey burgers; the summer would not be the same without Cobo Fish ‘n Chips and Aviars’s popular sausages & hot dogs.
If the authentic taste of apples and a glass of Rocqettes Cider is what you are seeking then look no further than The Flying Donkey and the unmistakable liveried Rocquettes Cider horsebox. Often to be found adjacent to The Flying Donkey is Wallow Charcuteierie and their home reared and cured meats. Another winning combination is the culinary lairing of the sea from Guernsey Herm Oysters accompanied by the sound of glass ass of chilled Prosecco or why not enjoy a classic gin & tonic with Wheadon’s home distilled Guernsey gin and the sound of ice poured of a gin & tonic. An extensive selection of handcrafted gifs, jewellery and toys will also be on display alongside homemade soaps hand creams, children’s clothes.
