Butterfield has received two industry awards for banking and trust services.
Butterfield Trust has been awarded the Who’s Who Legal (WWL) Private Client Trust and Advisory Firm of the Year 2020, while the Bank has received gold in the Private Bank of the Year category at the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards 2020.
WWL is one of the world’s leading directories of legal practitioners covering corporate and commercial law. Established in 1996, WWL identifies the foremost legal practitioners and consulting experts in business law. The WWL Awards are presented to individuals and firms that have performed exceptionally well according to research conducted by independent legal experts.
This is the second consecutive year that Butterfield Trust has been awarded the WWL Private Client Trust and Advisory Firm of the Year.
Butterfield Bank was also named Private Bank of the Year at this year’s Magic Circle Awards. The Awards are in their fifteenth year and are organised by Citywealth to highlight the excellence of advisers and managers in the private wealth sector. Winners are selected following a public vote and judging by a panel of international industry experts.
