Today, at Digital Jersey’s 2020 Annual Review, CEO Tony Moretta explained how Jersey has lead the way globally on many technology aspects, particularly how the island adapted and coped with the Covid pandemic, whilst remaining ‘open for business’.
Tony announced that this years Operational plan has been released and also, the Five year strategic plan has been released today for discussion.
Tony, interviewed by Gary Burgess said: “Get your intellectual curiosity going, get involved within your company, get involved with Digital Jersey. Look around you, look at opportunities in your company and in your industry.

The 2021 Operational plan, which explains how the first year objectives of the Strategic plan will be met, has four primary areas of focus:

- Grow infrastructure
- Transform business
It outlines twelve key goal-driven objectives with targets, to support Jersey’s strategic framework:
- Thriving business clusters
- Digital transformation
- Access to funding and growth tools
- Innovation island
- International connections
- World-class infrastructure and institutions
- A highly skilled workforce
- Attracting top tech talent
- Active community and partnerships
- Government prioritisation
- A digital government
