The Channel Islands Coop has announced an expanded partnership with Woodlands Farm, a family-run establishment in Jersey.
Customers can now buy a diverse selection of Woodlands Farm’s premium meats directly from the in-store butchery counters at Grand Marché St Helier and St Peter’s Village.
By integrating Woodlands Farm’s offerings into its butchery counters, the Coop aims to make it more convenient for customers to shop locally and enjoy exceptional meats at competitive prices.
Woodlands Farm, nestled in the heart of the Island, has been operated by the Le Boutillier family for five generations. Known for milking Jersey cows and cultivating Jersey Royal Potatoes, the farm has diversified its offerings to include a full range of meats available to both the hospitality industry and residents.
Today the farm is in the hands of the latest generation – Charlie and Bryony, with the continued support and experience of their father Richard. To celebrate the new partnership, the Le Boutilliers came in-store to meet staff and customers and talk about their range of products.
Richard Le Boutillier, Director of Woodlands Butchers, said: “Customers have been able to buy our pre-packed meat from Coop stores for some time, and we’re excited to take the next step by bringing the Woodlands Butchers range to their in-store butchery counters.
“Building this partnership aligns with our mission to make it easier for Islanders to enjoy quality cuts at affordable prices while benefiting from expert butchery service right at the counter.”
