
Senior Customer Operations Representative
Skipton International is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and creating a professional, friendly environment. We are looking for a Senior Customer Operations Representative to join our team and help us continue to deliver excellent service to our customers.
As a Senior Customer Operations Representative, you will be the face of Skipton International, providing excellent customer service through telephone calls, emails, and in-person interactions. You will support the Assistant Customer Services Manager in the absence of the Customer Services Manager and ensure a seamless customer experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver first-class customer service in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Assist with training new team members and participate in their One-to-One meetings.
- Provide accurate information and support over the phone and via email.
- Cover reception duties as needed and respond to the Info Line and daily Work Lists within company standards.
- Support Skipton International Online and take ownership of the online banking customer journey.
- Engage with and promote Skipton’s core values of Trust, Ownership, and One Team.
- Champion the customer experience and ensure positive outcomes for customers.
- Embrace and promote change to drive high performance.
- Record compliments and participate in regular team meetings to share ideas and feedback.
Key requirements:
- A-C in Maths and English at GCSE level or equivalent experience.
- Candidates with a Banking certification are desirable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in dealing with customers.
- Ability to handle customer dissatisfaction effectively.
- Experience in learning and adapting to new products.
- Understanding of banking knowledge, products, and services.
- Experience in dealing with vulnerable clients.
