Associate/Manager – Real Estate Debt & Capital Advisory
Buckden Partners are currently working with a leading independent advisory firm on an opportunity within their Real Estate Debt & Capital Advisory team in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in real estate finance, debt advisory, banking or transaction advisory who is looking to move into a broader, genuinely advisory-led role.
The team advises property owners, investors, developers and other real estate stakeholders on capital structuring, financing strategy and transaction execution across a range of situations.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll work across a varied mix of real estate debt and capital advisory mandates, including:
- Acquisition and development financing
- Refinancing and debt restructuring
- Capital raising and recapitalisations
- Analysis of complex capital structures
- Debt capacity and financing assessments
- Lender and investor engagement
- Transaction execution and financing processes
- Financial and debt modelling
- Preparing client and lender materials
- Supporting senior stakeholders and taking ownership of key workstreams
The role offers exposure across the full capital stack, with interaction across banks, debt funds, alternative lenders, institutional investors and other capital providers.
What they’re looking for
They are open-minded on background and would ideally consider candidates coming from:
- Banking / real estate lending
- Big 4 / large accountancy or advisory firms
- Real estate debt or capital advisory
- Real estate investment or finance
You do not need to be a qualified accountant. More important is a strong understanding of real estate finance, debt and financial analysis, alongside the ability to work through complex transactions and communicate your conclusions clearly.
For an Associate/Manager hire, they’re looking for someone who can combine strong technical capability with commercial judgement, take ownership of workstreams and is comfortable interacting with clients, lenders and other stakeholders.
