Babbé LLP has appointed David Doutney as a senior associate in its Dispute Resolution team. David has experience in complex litigious disputes in a variety of areas including cross border insolvency, company and shareholder disputes, tax and trust laws and financial services disputes and is keen to continue developing his practice in those areas at Babbé.
David said: “I am looking forward to working at Babbé which has a strong reputation in the offshore market. It is great to continue developing my knowledge and experience in offshore law, while continuing to work on large scale multi-jurisdictional litigation and disputes”.
David joins the firm after working for international law firms in the Cayman Islands and Sydney, Australia. He gained a diploma in law from the University of Sydney LEC, Australia and was awarded a diploma of Legal Practice from the Australian National University. David was also admitted as Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia and was called to the Bar at the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands.
