Autism Jersey has partnered with Marks & Spencer Jersey on a campaign intended to reduce the cost of school uniforms and make good-quality used items available at lower prices.

Families can donate wearable school uniforms to the Autism Jersey Boutique at 13 The Parade. In return, they will receive a voucher giving them 10% off new school uniform purchases at the M&S King Street store.

Donated uniforms will be checked and prepared by Autism Jersey volunteers to ensure they are clean, in good condition and well presented before being offered for resale.

Lesley Harrison, Head of Charitable Services at Autism Jersey, said: “We are delighted to be able to work with the team at M&S Jersey to support those with school-age children and help make their money go a little further in the current financial climate.

“We’re also delighted that this scheme will support our ethical and environmental values through the recycling of pre-loved clothing at the Autism Jersey Boutique.”

Caroline Slowey-Dickinson, Managing Director of M&S Jersey and iQ, said: “We are excited to partner with Autism Jersey again on this initiative, which reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting local charities, children and the environment.

“This scheme not only promotes sustainability through recycling, but also makes school uniforms more accessible and affordable for families across the island. We encourage everyone to get involved and help make a meaningful difference.”
