The Association for Project Management (APM) has announced the appointment of Adam Brown as the new Network Lead (Regional Chair) for the Channel Islands.
Adam brings a 20+ year track record in project and change leadership, with a particular focus on complex, high-pressure environments involving technological advancement, regulatory change, and infrastructure demands. His appointment reflects both his commitment to the project profession and his desire to build on the strong foundations already established within the Network.
Adam has been involved with the APM Channel Islands Network since its formation and steps into the role with a clear vision: to create accessible, engaging opportunities for members to connect, share practical insight and learn from one another – through in-person events, remote sessions and cross-sector conversations – while fostering a culture where practitioners at all career stages feel welcome and supported.
Professor Adam Boddison OBE, CEO of the APM, says: “Adam has been involved with APM in the Channel Islands from the start, his appointment will help the network grow and discuss some of the most pressing aspects of local project delivery.”
As Network Lead, Adam will champion the value of effective project and change delivery as a critical enabler of positive socio-economic outcomes across the Islands. “I’m pleased to be taking on the Network Lead role and would like to thank Ed Mason Smith and Simon Tidd for the strong foundations they’ve put in place. Their leadership has created a Network with real momentum, and I’m genuinely excited to build on that legacy by bringing people together, strengthening collaboration across the Islands, and helping the project and change community continue to grow.”
During his tenure, Adam aims to raise the profile of the profession, strengthen engagement across the public, private, and third sectors, and position the APM Channel Islands Network as a recognised voice in shaping how change is delivered in both Jersey and Guernsey while demonstrating the tangible value that skilled project professionals bring to island communities.
