Assetize Financial Services (Jersey), part of the Assetize group, has been registered by the Jersey Financial Services Commission to carry on trust company business.
The company will provide corporate and trustee services for tokenisation structures, including tokenised real-world assets, managed investment strategies and tokenised interests in existing funds.
Its services will include company formation, the provision of directors and ongoing administration for Jersey-based issuers of tokenised financial products.
Assetize provides technology and infrastructure for the issuance and management of tokenised products. The group reports that more than US$300 million of assets had been issued and serviced through its platform as at October 2026.
The registration brings regulated trust company administration within the Assetize group, alongside its existing technology and issuance services.
Jersey has attracted several businesses involved in tokenised financial products, including Kraken and Robinhood. According to RWA.xyz data published by Jersey Finance, Jersey accounted for 27.4% of the global tokenised equities market by value, equivalent to US$651.4 million, as at 5 September 2026.
Under the JFSC’s guidance on the tokenisation of real-world assets, Jersey issuers are required to be administered by a JFSC-regulated trust company business.
Andrew Horbury (pictured), Founder of Assetize, said: “Jersey has given tokenisation a clear regulatory framework, and firms such as Kraken and Robinhood have chosen it for their tokenised issuers. With a regulated administration business now part of the Assetize group, our clients get the issuance structure, the regulated administration and the technology in one relationship, under a regulator institutional investors already know across both TradFi and digital assets. We expect to bring a number of new tokenised products to market through Jersey over the coming year.”
Rory Forrest, General Counsel of Assetize, added: “Institutional investors want tokenised products that sit inside a legal and regulatory framework they already recognise. Jersey requires every issuer of tokenised real world assets to be administered by a regulated trust company and to obtain JFSC consent to issue, which gives investors real comfort. Having a regulated administration business within the group means the structures we bring to market meet that standard from day one.”
