Applications open for scallop diving in Sark

If you want to dive for scallops in Sark, you need a licence – and now’s your time to apply for one.

The window for applications runs until 10 March 2018 and a licence costs £100.

Channel Eye Careers

This year’s scallop season runs from 21 March to 19 October.

Conseiller Helen Plummer, Chairman of the Agriculture, Environment, Sea Fisheries & Pilotage Committee, said: “Application forms for a scallop licence for the 2018 season, together with details of Conditions of Licence to take scallops in Sark waters are now available from the Committee Office.”
