Standard Bank Offshore has started a new two-year partnership with Grouville FC, becoming the official shirt sponsor of the club’s Under 9s team.
For many children, grassroots football is about far more than the game itself. It is where friendships are formed, wellbeing is supported, confidence is built and valuable life skills such as teamwork, resilience and respect begin to take shape.
Alastair Gallichan, Head of Brand and Marketing at Standard Bank Jersey, said: “Strong communities are built by investing in people and that investment begins from an early age. Grassroots sport plays a vital role in helping young people develop confidence, resilience and a sense of belonging, while creating lifelong friendships and valuable life skills.
“Grouville FC provides exactly that environment and we’re proud to support the club’s young players over the next two seasons as they learn, grow and enjoy the game together. We look forward to following their journey and wish the team every success both on and off the pitch.”
Richard Noel, President at Grouville FC, added: “We’re incredibly grateful to Standard Bank Offshore for its support. Partnerships like this help us provide the best possible experience for our young players and their families, while ensuring every child feels proud to pull on a Grouville FC shirt. We look forward to working together over the next two years.”
