Gower has become the first corporate member of the Rotary Club of Guernsey.
The membership provides Gower employees with further opportunities to get involved in charitable and community initiatives, supporting Rotary’s work both in Guernsey and further afield.
Rotary Club of Guernsey President Jane Rowe recently visited Gower’s office to formally welcome the company as the club’s first corporate member and unveil a membership plaque, which is now proudly displayed in Gower’s reception.
Jane was joined by fellow Rotary members Chris Roberts and Brian Acton, while Paul McCormick attended on behalf of Gower.
Gower employees will soon be putting their new membership into action by volunteering at the upcoming Rotary Flag Days on 27th and 28th November.
Paul said: “Supporting our community has always been important to Gower, and joining Rotary gives our team another way to make a positive contribution by giving our time to support good causes.
“Rotary does a huge amount of valuable work in Guernsey and further afield, and we’re proud to become the club’s first corporate member. We’re looking forward to getting involved, starting with volunteering at the Rotary Flag Days in November.”
