A former President of the Jersey Chamber of Commerce has returned to the role following his appointment at the organisation’s Annual General Meeting.
Eliot Lincoln (pictured), who previously served as Vice President and later President between 2015 and 2019, will take on the role of Interim President for a one-year term.
Eliot had most recently served as Chamber’s Co-Vice President. His appointment follows Lee Madden’s decision to step down as President earlier this month. At the AGM, Chamber recorded its thanks and appreciation for Mr Madden’s dedication and commitment during his time as both Vice President and President.
Darren Scott was confirmed as Vice President, while Claire Reynard was appointed Chair of the Employment and Skills Committee.
Eliot is a director of Helier Consulting, where he provides director services and change management support, helping organisations navigate complex transformation programmes and maximise the value of their technology and people. He was named Jersey Institute of Directors Medium-Sized Business Director of the Year in 2012 and went on to win the UK National Young Director of the Year award the same year.
Darren is Chief Executive Officer of The Ferryspeed Group and has held senior leadership roles across both the public and private sectors, including Chief of Staff at Ports of Jersey and Director of Partnerships at the Government of Jersey.
Claire, who had previously served as Interim Chair of the Employment and Skills Committee, is Group Human Resources Manager at Seymour Hotels. She is also an ambassador for the Jersey Employment Trust, which supports people with disabilities and other barriers to employment in finding meaningful work.
